What an unreal week in Colombia! 🇨🇴
From plogging along the water channels in Ibague and do multiple cleanups around Bogotá’s rivers and vibrant city center. We met so many passionate people, showed city residents what plogging is all about, and kept proving why we do this: to protect our environment, build community, and inspire real, hands on change. 🌎💚

We hosted workshops with incredible young ploggers, visited the Eco House, created pins from recycled plastic, and even explored the city through cycle-plogging, stopping along the way to learn more about Colombia’s recycling system. And one magical highlight: an outdoor eco-themed cinema night under the open sky the perfect way to connect, reflect, and recharge.

So proud that Plogging Colombia was recognized as one of the top Eco groups of 2025 during an price giving with more than 100 NGO and environment organisation and extra special to have Elisa from Plogging Mexico joined us and made it even more special.

Thank you, Plogging Colombia, for a week full of passion, learning, and unforgettable moments. The movement here is powerful, and the future looks brighter than ever. 💚🌍✨

We were invited to the Samarkand Marathon in Uzbek

We were invited to the Samarkand Marathon in Uzbekistan, and it was our first time visiting Central Asia. We had no idea how much interest there would be in plogging, everything exceeded our expectations. People joined us from so many different countries. There were kids, professional runners, people from cities, farms and villages… everyone came together.

There was huge interest in plogging, and we even had the chance to give a lecture on the main stage. Seeing so many people curious, excited, and motivated to take action was truly inspiring.

More than 8,000 runners took part in Samarkand Marathon and we felt the impact of being part of something meaningful.

Thank you so much for the invitation. We’d love to come back and help spread the movement to other countries in the region.
